Dimitar Trendafilov is a lecturer at New Bulgarian University and member of Southeast European Centre for Semiotic Studies. He is MBA and PhD in applied semiotics. Dimitar gives courses in marketing management and research, brand building and semiotic studies on commercial communication. His interests are in the cultural basis of branding and consumer behaviour. The list of his publications contents more than twenty articles in academic journals: „Economic alternatives” (Bulgaria), “Lexia” (Italy), “Semiotica” (Canada) and “Public Journal of Semiotics” (Sweden) as well as on professional web-sites – semonaut.net and rwconnect.esomar.org. Dimitar has attended at Semiofest twice – London and Barcelona.
