Chris William Martin teaches courses in sociology, ethics, and diversity at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario, as a Sessional Professor. He is a Ph.D. Candidate with the Department of Sociology, Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, Canada. He volunteers at a local tattoo studio/art gallery and writes about tattoo enthusiasts and artists.
He has written journal articles and book chapters published by the Public Journal of Semiotics, Oxford University Press, Cambridge Scholars Press, and the Leslie Harris Centre.
He is a Fellow of The School of Graduate Studies at Memorial University and has been named an Outstanding Graduating Student by the Canadian Sociological Association.
